The final project which is due on 10/15/08. Let's brainstorm ideas here. Feel free to reply to another student's post. We're looking for ideas and potential partnerships.
i plan on running a fantasy football company. shouldnt be to hard to run. advertising would be easy and i know what company to use to keep track of all the scoring so i dont have to.
My idea is to start up a Software company that developes simulations for government agencies and private corporations.
I'd set it up so that I hold rights to modify those simulations for release into the public as games after the fashion of Full Spectrum Warrior and America's Army.
Aside from my major, I have been thinking about opening my own tanning salon. It is a service obviously, to make men and women feel better about the way they look. Now a days, your appearance is one of the most important features. I think everyone should look their best if and when they can.
I plan on starting a company that imports hard to find and older Japanese and European cars and converting them over to meet U.S. emissions and safety standards while not changing thier overall performance.
I want to freelance web design or freelance photograghy both of those are not hard to start up. Advertising and getting my name out there will be the hardest part.
My idea is to start up a sticker production company which will specialize in making customizable sticker templates for local sport teams, different organizations/clubs, political views, and leisures.
A business that I have been desire to develop is a company that produces entertainment programs for tourist locations (Cities, attractions). The company will provided everything from creating themes for events, advancing shows, executing on events, and providing post event analysis.
My idea for my business is a web/photo/art/and so on company. The main purpose for this is to bring those who are involved in these areas of art and design but don't have some of the tools. "Pow3r Web & Photo," will have 2 studios to shoot photos, about 5-10 mac computers to do editing and publishing, rental cameras to shoot with in the studio, cameras and equipment for sale, and more. There is a lot more I need to figure out, but that's the gist of it.
I have my own cleaning business because I love the idea of being one's own boss. It's my new goal to find an avenue that is more enjoyable though. My major is in web design and I feel like I will be able to incorporate this into a more interesting field of work.
I would like to start my own business to employ low-income and less fortunate adults with families that they may govern themselves accordingly and adjust to the U.S. unstable economy.
My idea is to start a business that is something of a hobby store geared towards those who enjoy computers, gaming, and anime/manga. Eventually it would expand to include card and tabletop games, as well as possibly comic books and things of that nature.
